Read and write standard SoftLogix data files to disk from your ladder logic.

The AE Advanced Retentive Memory SoftLogix LEM allows PLC programmers to read and write the following standard PLC data files to the hard drive: Binary, Integer, Float, String, Control, Counter, and Timer.

Features:

  • AE_BACKUP is used to read and write the Binary, Integer, Float and String Files. AE_BACKUP_AUX is used to read and write the Control, Counter, Long and timer files.
  • Each backup instruction allows you to specify the backup file name, the address of the RETENTIVE user-defined structure, the starting address in the PLC data file and the length.
  • Note: If you are not using some of these data files, you can configure the instruction to ignore them by setting the length parameter to (0) zero.
