With AE's SQL LEM, you can move data to or from any ODBC compliant database and Allen-Bradley's SoftLogix PLC, all with no code outside of the PLC.

With this setup, AE has read a barcode into a SoftLogix PLC, looked up data on a serial number in a 500,000 record database, and changed an output on the PLC, all in less than 40 milliseconds.
