Access up to 256 Serial ports all from your SoftLogix PLC!

Simple configuration settings such as baud rate, data bits, parity, and termination characters aresupplied for each serial port. Once configured, open the port using the AE_PORTINIT instruction. Reads and writes can now be performed on all opened serial ports.

You can add 256 serial ports to the SoftLogix PLC, so it has the capability of handling plenty of barcode readers.
