Advanced Engineering, Inc.’s Andon display solution displays up-to-date Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), Line Production Efficiency, Station Status, and other production data on large plasma or LCD flat screens near your production area. Quality problems, overall performance, production goals, and other communication are simply and effectively communicated to management, maintenance and production workers, allowing them to react more quickly to production conditions.
Both the color and the related message text change when the station status changes. If a station goes out of Auto Cycle, the accumulated time out of Auto Cycle is calculated as well, helping technicians determine if a particular station is affecting production.
The Andon display solution is also capable of giving shift break downs, hour by hour and providing operators with a weekly production schedule that can be updated via supervisor console by management or administrators. Also if there are quality issues, the Andon can be updated to inform of defects and other quality issues, as well as general communication from management.

It can be displayed on standard monitors and large screen displays (Plasma, LCD, etc) using PC’s, thin clients, PDA’s, or almost any web-enabled device with a display of any size. Best of all, the Andon display does not consume very much of the device’s resources. The Andon display itself, as well as the Supervisor and Admin Consoles, are web-based, user-friendly, customizable, and easily maintained.
